Scope and sequence
Plan the whole year, term by term.
Lay out a year's units around your school's term dates, with outcomes and assessment tasks attached. Teachivo drafts the plan; you move things around until it's right.
No card required. Time savings are estimates, not measurements.
How it works
Step 1
Set the year
Choose the class and school year. NSW public school term dates are filled in for you; anywhere else, enter your own.
Step 2
Draft the units
Teachivo drafts units across the terms and suggests the syllabus outcomes each one covers.
Step 3
Adjust and export
Move units, change their length, add assessment tasks, and export the finished plan to Word.
The year's plan, without the spreadsheet
Built around term dates
Units are placed week by week inside your terms, so the plan fits the calendar you actually teach.
Outcomes attached
Each unit carries the NSW syllabus outcomes or Australian Curriculum content descriptions it addresses.
Assessment tasks in place
Mark where each assessment falls, so the year's workload is visible at a glance.
Export to Word
Download the finished scope and sequence as a Word document for your faculty or program.
Questions teachers ask
What is a scope and sequence?
A year-long plan showing which units a class covers (the scope) and in what order and timing (the sequence), usually with the outcomes and assessments for each unit.
Does Teachivo know my term dates?
NSW public school term dates, eastern and western division, are filled in for you. Teachers elsewhere enter their school's term dates, and units are laid out week by week inside them.
Which syllabus does it use?
NSW teachers use the NSW syllabus, and teachers in every other state and territory use the Australian Curriculum v9. Victorian Curriculum 2.0 isn't in Teachivo yet, so Victorian teachers get the Australian Curriculum v9 content descriptions it's built on.
Is the plan always right?
No. Teachivo uses AI to draft, and AI can make mistakes. Everything starts as a draft for you to read, edit and approve, so you stay in charge of what's used.
Can I export it?
Yes, as a Word document you can share with your faculty or add to your teaching program.
