Lesson plans
Describe the lesson. Teach from the slides.
Say what you want the lesson to do, in your own words. Teachivo writes a run sheet and a slide deck together, so the slides teach the plan, and every slide stays editable.
No card required. Time savings are estimates, not measurements.
How it works
Step 1
Describe the lesson
Give the subject, year level and what students should learn, in your own words. Add syllabus outcomes if you like.
Step 2
Pick the title first
Choose from four suggested titles before anything is planned, so the lesson is aimed at the right thing from the start.
Step 3
Edit, then teach
Adjust the run sheet and the slides, then download the deck as PowerPoint and the plan as PDF or Word.
A plan and a deck that agree
Written together
The run sheet and the slides come from the same plan, so the timing, activities and slides line up.
Edit on the slide
Drag, resize and restyle any block, choose from a set of templates, and add photos.
Syllabus outcomes
Target NSW syllabus outcomes in NSW, or Australian Curriculum v9 content descriptions in every other state and territory.
PowerPoint and Word
Slides download as a PowerPoint file you can open anywhere; the plan downloads as PDF or Word.
Decks up to 20 slides
Up to 10 slides a lesson on the Free plan and up to 20 on Pro.
A worksheet to match
Add a worksheet written for the lesson, saved alongside it in the same class.
Questions teachers ask
What do I get from one lesson?
A run sheet for the lesson and a slide deck written to go with it. You can edit both, then download the slides as PowerPoint and the plan as PDF or Word.
Can I change the slides?
Yes. Every block on every slide can be edited, moved, resized and restyled, and you can switch templates and add photos.
Does it follow the syllabus?
NSW teachers use the NSW syllabus, and teachers in every other state and territory use the Australian Curriculum v9. Victorian Curriculum 2.0 isn't in Teachivo yet, so Victorian teachers get the Australian Curriculum v9 content descriptions it's built on.
Does it make PowerPoint slides?
Yes. Every lesson plan comes with a slide deck written alongside it, with speaker notes. Present it from Teachivo or download it as an editable PowerPoint file.
Is the content always accurate?
No. Teachivo uses AI to draft, and AI can make mistakes. Everything starts as a draft for you to read, edit and approve, so you stay in charge of what's used.
How many slides can a lesson have?
Up to 10 slides on the Free plan and up to 20 on Pro.
